I’ve been to Plano, once. Don’t plan on ever going back, though it’s not like I had a choice the first time. The traffic, the enormous interchanges, the driving, and just the sheer number of spoiled rich brats there and in McKinney. and don’t get me started on how idiotic those people are about high school football.

Obviously these people are idiots, but it does seem like there could be some better signage/road markings.

Isn’t McKinney the one that spent like $70 million on a high school football stadium?

Ironically, they’ve apparently upped the signage/markings just this year. It used to be much worse...

yes. and the voters approved it.
I don’t know what these morons are thinking. A million kids play high school football every year. A couple hundred get to the NFL every year, and not every draftee even makes the team. and if they do, they don’t necessarily succeed.
So no, Mr. Football Dad, statistically speaking your kid has near zero chance of winning the Super Bowl. So for god’s sake, step it down a bit.

Ye’, there is little to no road markings and what’s with the large circle in the middle of the junction? What idiot thought that was a good idea?

Worse yet is that due to cost over-runs, they’ve raided funds earmarked for computers and band equipment. I have a serious case of schadenfreude, but mostly I just feel bad for these kids. These are decisions being made by adults that tremendously negatively impacts their futures. Granted, in an upper-middle class or even straight middle class area they’re probably not having issues with computer access or band affordability, but even if those things aren’t needed, I’m sure there’s some actual academic segment of the school that could benefit from $70 mil of an upgrade. Or perhaps they use it to invest elsewhere in the community. There’s a whole lot of better options for that money than a high school football field.
